1:30 p.m. — Wedding Ceremony

We chose the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis for our ceremony because it is a very traditional church. Of course, Kyle loves the architecture and Christine appreciates the deep sense of reverence one is overcome with upon entering the building. Additionally, Kyle was confirmed and attended his High School graduation mass at the cathedral, so it was fitting to choose it for another major life event.

Accessibility: Most of the Cathedral Basilica is handicap accessible, including the main nave of the church and two of the four side chapels. Read more about accessibility.

3:30 p.m. — “Intermission”

There will be a gap between the ceremony and the reception while the wedding party tours the city taking obligatory photos. The hotel has spaces to rest and relax — naps are encouraged.

City Tour! We will also be offering guests the option to take a tour of the city on the shuttle! The shuttle will leave from the hotel at 4:00 p.m. Landmarks are yet to be finalized, but will of course include The Arch and the Mississippi River. Spaces is limited so please indicate your interest on the RSVP form so we can get an idea of count!

6:00 p.m. — Wedding Reception

The seventh floor at Windows on Washington has lovely views of Downtown St. Louis from every angle – with large windows to the east and south and two open-air verandas. The custom bar is both sophisticated and rustic, with a crisp copper top and charming reclaimed French doors both above and below, perfect for an elegant evening.

Parking: Windows On Washington provides a complimentary parking lot just two blocks west at 18th and Washington, and shuttles guests between this parking lot and the venue.

Accessibility: The venue features large elevators to whisk guests swiftly up to the seventh floor. Note that you’re welcome to take the stairs, however we guarantee you’ll get your exercise dancing the night away!

Shuttle “Home”: WOW provides a complimentary shuttle from the reception back to local hotels. It is open bar so PLEASE consider using this service! The shuttle is available starting at 7:30 p.m. but we hope you’ll stay and dance with us until the very end!
