it all started with the hat…
Kyle and Chris met at Eddie Bauer one day when Kyle was working…and sporting one of his First Ascent hats. First Ascent is one of Eddie Bauer’s brands, which both Chris and Kyle have worn and loved long before they met. They decided to be “First Ascent buddies,” coined on one of their early walks around Lake Nokomis while wearing First Ascent jackets…
Thus, many pictures feature this hat, and usually one or both of us in our cool-kid Aviators…
